Do you like my new hat and veil combination? I do. But I’m still not sure I’m tying the veil correctly, and bees occasionally visit me on the inside of it. It’s always the littlest things that give me fits.

I like it, Liz!
I like that hat, in fact, I am going to make one just like it for this coming spring. Getting bees inside your veil is not a good thing, I have been known to dance a panic dance until said bee is dispatched !
This picture doesn’t show the top of my hat! The top of the hat is very wonderful, and I hate that you can’t see it here.
And, Marcia, I, too, have been known to panic a little when a bee gets trapped inside my veil with my face. In fact, yesterday I ordered an official Golden Bee suit with the zip-on veil. I’ll let you know how I like it…but I have a feeling that I’ll stick with this hat and this veil for routine hive visits. I got the bee suit for bigger deals…like bee removals.
